Blockchain powered shareable charger
An accessory for electric car charger that allows for peer to peer usage of electric charger with blockchain creating for sharing.
Description
There are many electric chargers in garages, underground parkings and independent houses but these are underutilized, if we can extract the full potential of it then it will be beneficial for the users and help create a shareable charging economy for electric cars, say my neighbor or a guy living in my apartment has a similar electric charger that I can utilize to charge my car too, so if there is a way I can pay my neighbor based on my electric usage then that would be ideal. My idea proposes for an accessory for electric car charger that allows for peer to peer usage of electric charger with blockchain, helping creating a network for electric charging economy.This can be retrofitted to an existing car charger to make it a shareable public charger, this can be installed by either the house owner or by tenants themselves in underground parking. People can pay with POWR, STEEM,ETH,BTC either using a standard wallet app or RFID/NFC in mobile. Since it uses integrated blockchain technology, the charging station can be operated by governments, companies, as well as private persons (P2P) on the same homogeneous blockchain infrastructure. On further research I have found a team in Germany who is doing the same and may be teaming up with them will be the best way as they already have a working product.
